About The Work Barge Charter – Landing Craft ‘Reef Safari’
Charter workboat/landing barge for hire from Cairns, Queensland.
North Marine has a full range of workboats and barges for charter.
Work landing barge Reef Safari is an 8-meter aluminium landing craft with a bow door. She carries up to 12 persons.
Suited to both barge harbour work and ocean-going projects, Reef Safari is configured to provide cargo or fuel transfer or as a general work barge.
A 0.3-meter draft makes her ideal for shallow water work or beach work.
Additional fuel cells (capacity 2 x 1500 litres) or a commercial diving team are available, if required.
She may be chartered alone or as a support boat to one of our other charter vessels – such as North Marine tugboat ‘Gulf Explorer’.

North Marine offer both hourly and daily landing barge charter rates, in line with competitive industry standards.
Charter rates include time loading and unloading, voyage time, and duration at the worksite.
If required, use of our hi-ab truck or dogman and franna crane may incur additional charges.
